Ambassador for Christ

Ambassador for Christ
Introduction
In order to do this work well we need to define the word ‘ambassador’  .
Who is an ambassador?
The Nelson’s illustrated Bible Dictionary defines an ambassador as “an official representative of Kings and rulers”.  The Oxford Advanced Dictionary defines it as an “official who lives in a foreign country as the senior representative there of his country. Thesaurus.com defines an ambassador: as “noun …
1.
a diplomatic official of the highest rank, sent by one sovereign or state to another as its resident representative (ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary)
2.
a diplomatic official of the highest rank sent by a government to represent it on a temporary mission, as for negotiating a treaty.
3.
a diplomatic official serving as permanent head of a country's mission to the United Nations or some other international organization.
4.
an authorized messenger or representative.
Abbreviation: Amb., amb.

In ancient times kingdoms, republics, states,  and dominions spoke to others through their ambassadors (Kings 5:1) and they sought favours from the localities where they are resident (Numbers 20:14); they made treaties (Joshua 9:4 -6); and they register protests (Judges 11:12).
The treatment meted on the ambassador of that country in the country they are resident, to all intent and purpose, is the treatment meted on the country from where he or she was sent. If an ambassador is not well treated it will lead to war (2 Sam10:4-6).

Ambassadors of the old order
An ambassador is an elder chosen from the rank of the mature, experienced men and women. They are chosen by their pedigree and character, not by being rich and having excessive wealth. These qualities – righteousness, integrity, holiness and purity – characterised ambassadors. In fact the ambassador must be an image of God on earth (Gen1:26). They are free from elements of corruption so as not to bring shame on the church (temple) and their respective families.
Paul called himself an ambassador (Eph6:20), an idea that referred to all Christian ministers (2Cor. 5:20).  The following were good ambassadors of the Old and New Testaments: Enoch, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Joel, Peter, James, John, Paul, and Jesus Christ as the everlasting ambassador with an everlasting message and covenant.
The men listed above were sent by God to represent him at various times, until Christ came as the everlasting ambassador. Christ is the final and everlasting ambassador, whose reign will never finish! He is the perfect image of the father (Romans 10:19). It is Christ that has the power to make anyone ambassadors of God or sons of God (John1:2).
An ambassador for Christ
An ambassador of Christ is any human who makes himself available to be used to plead to the world and make them repent from their sins, through grace, for Christ has given all things to us by grace and not strength, so that no man will boast (2 Corinthians 12). Such a one is given the power to teach and preach the word of God. So a person takes all his time to emulate Christ wherever they are. These are the essential attributes and calling of Christians wherever they are. An ambassador of Christ goes about preaching and teaching, just as Jesus did. This was a prerequisite of this ambassadorship.
Being strong in the Lord is a necessity to be an ambassador of Christ. One must put on the amour of the Lord – faith, trust; humility etc; with this, one can withstand the wicked antics of the devil. The persons come to the realization that the battle is not of flesh or blood, but of the spirit; and of spiritual powers in high places and about the powers of wickedness in heavenly places.
An ambassador for Christ is strengthened by the Holy Spirit to withstand the work of the Adversary – the Devil – with his human agents. The person is ready to stand with the whole amour of faith against the work of the enemy (Ephesians 6:10-13).The ambassador can stand against all principalities, and the grim hand of Hell and Satan.
The ambassador can feel and even ‘see’ the clearly defined authority both in the visible and invisible realms. He is ever vigilant and has the power of the whole amour of faith to defend him against Satan, the devil, and all his cohorts.
Prayer and the word of God – the scriptures – are necessary for this battle. The Holy Spirit strengthens our spirits through prayer and studying the scriptures. The mind becomes pure and   perfect by the renewal of the spirit through the word of God (Romans 12:2.) prayer is necessary for the battle, the word of God is significant. When Jesus was tempted by the Devil – Jesus always replies – “It is written” – and he quotes a portion of the Bible or Scriptures to ward of the wiles of Satan. We must do the same now through the word; and repeat it to the Devil on the day of temptation. Only in this way can we become good ambassadors of our Lord Jesus Christ.
An ambassador is a prayer warrior, he asks without fear, he prays according to the word and whatever he asks for he gets, because he prays according to the stipulated  words and scriptures(James5:6) an ambassador is a man of impeccable character – gentle, slow to anger, honest and does the right thing at the right time. He is generous, considers the poor and needy and at times he places their problems over and above his own. He is kind, temperate and considerate. He is filled with the fruits of the Holy Spirit - love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness(Galatians 5:22).  The ambassador of Christ submits to God in his mind, body and spirit.  He is an image of Jesus and when married, his wife reflects him and thereby, reflects Jesus Christ.
Satan’s ambassador
Satan is the complete adversary of God. He moves at large destroying, or trying to destroy the works of God. He was first an angel of light, the Son of the Moring; the Lucifer – light bearer. After losing his position in Heaven, he decided to deal blows on the image of God – human beings.  An ambassador of Satan represents him in his evil works. The ambassadors of the devil carry out works of evil - the works of Cain, the works of the generation of Noah, the antics of Judas Iscariot, the happenings in Sodom and Gomorrah etc. They are agents of the spiritual and temporal works carried out by Satan.
The ambassadors of Satan are worldly minded – deceivers, cheaters, gamblers, liars, back biters, going into drugs, etc. Satan’s ambassadors are everywhere: at home, in brothels, in the market, in the commuter buses, even, in the Church. As Jesus said, by their fruits you shall know them.
Whose ambassador are you?
Are your works those of Jesus or of Satan? Who do you represent? Are you working for the things of God or of the devil? As for me, my family and my church we will do the works of God. I was an ambassador for Christ even before I was born (Romans 8:28-30). Christ’s ambassadors manifest the following – Holy living, tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering, love, peace, gentility etc. . . .
Conclusion
My brothers and sisters try and amend your ways and become ambassadors for Jesus rather than those of Satan.  What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and suffer the loss of his own soul. The die is cast. If you really want to be an ambassador of Christ say the following with me …
Prayer for redemption
“Heavenly father, I thank you for your love for me; and for the gift of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. You sent your Son to die as atonement for our sins. Because of this provision, I turn to you so that you will wash me from my sins and make me pure in Jesus name.  Amen. I ask you to please forgive my sins and write my name in the book of eternal life. Amen.

YORUBA BEWARE: IBORI IS A FOE

YORUBA BEWARE: IBORI IS A FOE
Many Urhobo and some short sighted Isekiri are celebrating the release of James Onanefe Ibori. But it is important to know that James is an enemy of the Yoruba race by the way he treated the Isekiri people. I will not go into much historicity here. If the reader doubts that the Isekiri are not pure Yoruba he/she should visit www.globalpeacearithmetic.blogspot.com. It is due to the facts outlined in the blog that the Ooni of Ife – the Alaiyeluwa , the foremost Yoruba king – came to attend the coronation of the Olu of Warri just a few days after he himself was crowned. As the jubilation continues for his release it is proper we say a few evil Ibori did to Isekiri and by extension the Yoruba race. This is risky however since Ibori is the father of the family that rules Delta till date (Governor Okowa 2016). But in the spirit of freedom of speech and being very sure of my facts I will present my facts one after the other.
1.     Ibori shifted the Headquarters of Warri South West Local Government area from Ogidigben to Ogbe-Ijoh. Yet the Ogbe-Ijohs were tenants of Olu of Warri (SC/450/65).
2.     Ibori approved a ‘king’ for Gbaramatu Ijaw clan, an evil never before seen. Yet , Gbaramatus were tenants to Omadinors(w/30/1962). It is with this false kingdom that that Gbaramatu used in trying to steal EPZ from Kpokpo an Isekiri community and acquiring a fake Maritime University in Okerenkoko, a legally nonexistent town. Oporoza(Ofuraja) the so called capital of Gbaramatu is in Ugborodo land (w/124/76). Kpokpo is an Isekiri community, suit no MCC/4/71. The Ijaws have no single land in that area. The Omadinor Isekiri who owned the land were descendants of Lenuwa in Ijebu Waterside.
3.     Ibori went ahead to create false wards in the three Warris. The picture was worse in Warri South West. Isekiri seven wards were made ten; Ijaw three wards were also made ten. This is the type of justice that Ibori preaches – a justice tainted with lies and oppression.
4.     Ibori cut a part of Efurokpe land and called it Otefe. On this piece of land which belonged to Toro Kubeinje he built the Delta State Polytechnic.
5.     Ibori intensified the land tussle in the Ogbe-Ijoh – Aladja axis by creating a false local government for the Ijaw tenants. With the creation of this false local government council, the Ijaws felt like landlord overnight and started fighting for more Isekiri lands in Aladja axis.  So much for the injustice of Ibori against Isekiri. The list is not exhausted; more will be written

What is to be done?
a.     Isekiri should be wary of Ibori and all his tricks
b.     Isekiri should think deeply on any suggestion brought by Ibori and his ruling elite in Delta
c.      Isekiri should always think of realigning with Yoruba in any form of restructuring.
d.     We know our detractors of old, we know our detractors of today, and no matter what new garb they may wear, we know their instinctive notorierity for mischief making.

The Militancy issue

`
The Militancy issue
Good day all, we are the first who seem to be knowledgeable about the militancy situation in the Niger Delta. Many people see the Ijaw militants - MEND, NIGER DELTA AVENGERS, EGBESU etc – as freedom fighters; or agitators for human rights issues. But this is very far from the truth. The Ijaw militants are terrorists. They have been so since ages. Pacheco Pereira in 1505(their first contact with written sources) describe them as pirates; De Bry in 1601 , describe them as terrorists; Roth in 1901 described them as terrorists; Punch Cyril , Bradbury about the turn of the 19th  century describe them in the same way . Coming home – Alagoa( an Ijaw/Ogbia professor of History) 1977 talked copiously about the terrorism of the Ijaw, they even take praise names for such nefarious acts; Ikime( a fellow Niger Deltan) 1969 was emphatic about Ijaw terrorism and piracy. The story is a recurring decimal, whether you talk of Captain Leonard (1906) , Landolphe 1786, PC Lloyd 1957, Moore 1936, the story is the same. All through the centuries the Ijaw have been lawless without a king – just constituting barbarism for more enlightened people                Take a look: in 1956 the Okrika Ijaw was out rightly defeated in a court case   in Port Harcourt, where they are declared as customary tenants. In the same 50s the Ijaw were declared customary tenants of the Edos. All their settlements around Gelegele, Ajakurama , Ofunama are under the tenancy of Oba of Benin. The so called Okerenkoko (sic Okerenghigho) is Isekiri land. The land they are now bargaining with to get a Maritime University without the Omadino and the Olu of Warri. The Ijaw are also tenant in Akwa-Ibom. They are tenants in Ondo, So much for the Ijaw.
In all these places they have fought and illegally possessed lands. In Isekiri, the Ibori regime created a local government (Ogbe-Ijoh) without a federal Government gazette for the Ijaw. The land (on tenancy hold) is now a problem with the neighbouring Aladja people. Both people all under the Olu in those days are now in bellum omnium contra omnes. Both have no single legal documents to back their claims. In Ondo, Ilaje-Yoruba land was excised and a local government created for the Ijaw. Now, the same Ijaw are planning a Maritime University on Isekiri land, where they have just committed genocide. The same Tompolo who claims to be a freedom fighter, together with Goodluck(Badluck) Jonathan should be tried on
1.       The establishment of a Deep Sea Port in Gbaramatu clan. The land is under the tenancy of the Olu of Warri
2.       The groundbreaking of the NMU with a false name(Okerenkoko – not in any ancient map) instead of Okerenghigho-Omadino
3.       The genocide against Isekiri which Tompolo is actively involved in; and which Goodluck somehow knew about by bowing to Tompolo to build a University for the Ijaw on a land they just acquired by massacring Isekiri   .
Others who are likely sponsors of these Ijaw are :
a.       James Ibori. He wrongfully shifted the Local government Headquarters without a resort to the proper gazette; he illegally created CDCs in the 3 Warris ,avoiding places with similar problems such as Sapele.
b.      Emmanuel Uduaghan. He was the notorious Isekiri governor who wrongly gave a staff of office to an illegal kingdom – Gbaramatu.

It should interest the world that these two governors in Delta are cousins and have spoilt the political terrain of the state. They are the ones who must have funded these monsters.  For peace to reign Uduaghan should be looked for and dealt with. Ibori is already suffering for his sins.

Goodluck Jonathan, Ibori and Uduaghan must have chosen the Ijaw for their dirty jobs to cover up for their offences. Why the Ijaws? They are the only ones with a notorious history to allow for such irresponsibility and barbarism as I have shown above. All the ethnics in the Greater Delta have their shortcomings, but none has the notoriety and incivility of the Ijaw.  Great care should be taken to create the Maritime University with the proper and correct names, if not Isekiri might have a signal that even Buhari has joined in the great massacre of Ibori, Alams, Tompolo , Uduaghan and all that ilk.
